  • Grand Junction City Council’s unique “Say or Do Anything You Want, Free-For-All Moment.”  (Formerly known as “The Invocation.”) The City of Grand Junction now offers any and all area citizens the chance to come before council say anything he or she wants to City Council prior to a public meeting, without censorship of any type. Thanks to the efforts of WCAF, the City has adopted a policy that allows anyone to apply for the Say or Do Anything You Want, Free-For-All Moment in front of Council.  If you are chosen, you get an opportunity to say or do WHATEVER you want, for as LONG as you want,  to the entire City Council prior to the public meeting. Council has refused to censor what happens during the Free-For-All Moment, so you can say or do anything you want, completely without censorship. Invitees are chosen by a quarterly drawing. Surprise Council! Make history! Be different!  To be considered for a Say Anything You Want, Free-For-All Moment in front of the Grand Junction City Council, send your contact information to Stephanie Tuin, City Clerk at stepht@gjcity.org. The City draws names quarterly.
